Introduction "F lavours":  Ice Cream,  chocolate, vanilla and strawberry  etc... these are certain things comes to our mind when we think about the word flavour. Flavour is the one which gives taste to the particular edible. If the edible loses its flavour it will no longer be an eatable. Can you imagine an ice cream without any flavour? it is just a freeze and tasteless cream.  We all always have someone who always likes a particular flavour always. We also like some flavour which tempts us to eat more. Hence flavour attracts us towards it.  What is the colour of chocolate flavour? Yes, we all know it is brown. Colour of strawberry? As we mentioned in the Previous Blog here we are going to discuss a very common but important topic which is very essential in our lives. Here is a question for you... We almost reached the centre point of our blog series, this is the 5th blog and 4th flavour in this Flavours of life.  The Forth Flavour Of Life Is  "PATIENCE" The motto of these flavours of life series is to create awareness about essential life characters and makes us realize the importance of practising it. As I mentioned before all these life characters are interlinked. It is difficult to practice one single flavour to implement in our life. Now we are in the 6th blog if this series Flavour 5 The Fifth Flavour Of Life Is "KINDNESS" Dear friends, we are living in a world where different kinds of people around us, we are not living a monastic life to exclude us from this world. Our culture and circumstances allow us to live in harmony with others. This flavour 5 plays a major role in bringing harmony among us. What is kindness? Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Why is Kindness important?  We have some bonding with each and every one of us. This is the fourth last article of this series.  Blog 7 / Flavour 6   The Sixth Flavour of Life Is "GOODNESS" Good is not an unfamiliar word, we often used this word in our life. Nowadays we are starting to answer "I'm good" if someone asks how are you. Blog 8/ Flavour 7 The Seventh Flavour of Life is "Faithfulness" We all are living in a dependent world, for example. Organisms cannot survive in the world without the Sun. We all live a life of dependence on one another. When we depend on one another, it creates an agreement between both. The agreement is based on faithfulness; if we are not faithful to the agreement then it creates a problem. Therefore Faithfulness is very important when we are dependent on one another.  Faithfulness  is the quality of being faithful. Faithful is  remaining loyal and steadfast. Being faithful is personal discipline.  Faithful in our relationships : We all have a relationship; it may be any kind of relationship like a friend, colleague, spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend, family. We are almost at the end of this series, this is the second last blog of this series/Flavour 8  The Eighth Flavour of Life is "GENTLENESS" Gentleness is more similar to kindness, but there is some difference between kindness and gentleness.  To make it clearer, if someone gives you a babby to hold how you will hold kindly or gently? of course, gently know, it is quite difficult to differentiate it both but it different.  Gentleness is related to the behaviour of a particular situation, how we react.  A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Blog 10/Flavour 9  The Ninth Flavour of Life is "SELF-CONTROL" The last flavour of life is self-control. Self-control is defined as,  T he ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires, especially in difficult situations.  Here is a common and easy example to understand self-control, If an athlete wants to win in a running race, he or she wants to be controlled in particular things like food items, personal discipline, time management etc., unless he/she has that personal discipline, it is impossible to win the race. It is not only applicable for an athlete but each and every one of us has a certain goal to achieve in our life.
