Flavours 6 (Flavours of Life)

This is the fourth last article of this series.
Blog 7 / Flavour 6

The Sixth Flavour of Life Is "GOODNESS"

Good is not an unfamiliar word, we often used this word in our life. Nowadays we are starting to answer "I'm good" if someone asks how are you. If we think deeply into it, it will lead us to a question: what is Good and what is Bad?
Something good for someone may not be good for others.

For example, We cannot say drinking alcohol is bad in some foreign countries because for them it is like drinking tea. So good and bad practices may differ according to the place and situation.
So how to find what is good? And what is bad?
Understanding Goodwill helps to practice goodness in our life.
Here is some common understanding
"Good- which is morally right".or we can say "Actions that emanate (Comes out of) from good thoughts can be defined as good and Actions that emanate from bad thoughts can be defined as bad"
Goodness is defined as the quality of being morally good or virtuous.

How good we are?
We have to raise this question to ourselves and try to find out bad practices which help us to filter bad and practice goodness in our life. Good and bad cannot go together.

What are the good works we are engaged in?
Without good work, we cannot express our goodness to others. There are a lot of people around us who need help from us, it may be a physical financial moral etc., let's engage ourselves with good works in possible ways. Goodness brings beauty to our life.

If someone does something bad to us we don't want to do the same thing to them. Goodness replaces the bad with good deeds. Sometimes it's very hard to accept the people who have did something bad to us but let's accept people with unconditional love.

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." -St.Paul
Not only for personal but social.
Let's be good for this society. Products which we are using for our daily need have to be fond good. One of the essential things to change is Plastic, which is harmful in many ways to this Nature. If we are good in our nature we should try to avoid all the things which spoil our nature.

“Think about every good thing in your life right now. Free yourself of worrying. Let go of the anxiety, breathe. Stay positive, all is well.”

As I mentioned before all these life characters are interlinked. It is difficult to practice one single flavour to implement in our life. If we started understanding the peace in us then it is easy to practice this patience, it is also another flavour of life which we need to discuss separately.  “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.” Aristotle     DEFINITION: Patience is t he capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.
